Ghassoul powder : Different from other clays due to its unique composition, it is extremely absorbent, making it excellent for cleansing. Most clays are known to strip oils from the skin, but ghassool leaves skin amazingly soft. It helps detoxify the skin while it exfoliates gently.
Ghassoul clay is rich in minerals such as Silica, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Potassium and Sodium.

Argan oil : Argan oil helps in reducing the wrinkles and softening the skin. It has also shown to increase the elasticity and tightening of the skin. Benefits of argan oil for skin also include regeneration of the skin by revitalizing the cell functions that prevent early skin aging due to sun, pollution, stress, smoking, etc. There are too many benefits to this oil to list them all here
Almond oil : Improves complexion and retains glow while it moisturises better and deeper. This oil soothes skin irritation and inflammation, that’s why i mixed it in my argan oil. Helping in fighting ageing process, almond oil lightens dark circles and relieves dry and itching skin. Nourishing the skin, it makes it smooth and soft. Almond oil can also cures chapped lips and body rashes.

I discovered Ghassoul powder by chilling on the Tube of course, hahahaha, looking for natural hair recipes for my daughter. And i was so impressed i ordered some, and only after that i did more researches & found out it is very good for skin also.

Here is my mix :

  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghassoul powder
  • 1 tsp oil mix (argan + almond)
  • warm water, enough to make a paste

I applied it on & left it on for about 15 mns. That is TOO LONG ! Because when it dries out, it really pulls out on the skin, forbidding you even the thought of smiling, looool.

My skin after i rinsed & dried… Love the smoothness

Rinsing : Luke/cold water, tissue blot and moisturize my face.
Results : Skin left MORE THAN soft, you can’t touch but i still have a picture, lol, my skin is soft, nourished, no more pulling (that’s just when the mask dries out), and most important, my skin is brighter !

I mean i was looking at my face in the mirror, almost regretting this rule that mentions : don’t apply a facial mask around your eyes + mouth, lol.

I do that 2x week, the first time i applied it & jumped in the shower, left the mask on for 5 mns only, and it wasn’t pulling as i was under the shower with the steam & all… Will def always do it like that 🙂

What is your favorite facial mask?
