Being busy was a battle for me to keep it up with my hair lately… So last week end i went ahead and did a caramel treatment ! Wow ! I forgot how these were good !

My new growth is so soft & supple it’s just a joke ! For this one i have used Bronzeg recipe, not my recipe bcz you know i love to test out new things, lol, check out here video  here

So i used the EXACT same measurements as shown in her video

- molasses

- olive oil

- lustrasilk shea butter conditioner

- alberto VO5 moisture milks

- avocado/macadamia oil

Applied it from roots to tips, deep conditioned with a shower cap for 2 hours, rinsed thoroughly & co-washed with Tresemme vit E rich moisture.

Then i did a black tea final rinse & towel blotted with the black tea in, i DON’T RINSE THE BLACK TEA OUT !

after that,  i deep conditioned & i can’t remember what conditioner i used….

Anyway after i rinsed the whole thing, i applied my leave-ins, de tangled on 80% air dried hair, and went to bed with my hair in 4 plaits & a scarf tied on (i really don’t like plaits but it seems to work for preventing from breakage & stuff)

In the morning, omg ! ! Soft, manageable hair, NG WAS TAMED like craaaazy ! ! Looked like i was only 3 weeks post, hahahaha, instead of the almost 9 weeks post i currently am…

I plan to do it every week after i move until my relaxer early august

And yes it is so true that you penetrate deep within the hair shaft to hydrate and humectify my hair…

I was so happy I kept the last few drops of my latest bottle until I restock…

Circumstances:

But she did too well, as I am going through some shedding AND breakage lately!! ! I think I left the relaxer too long, so I was in need of a strengthening product but not a hard protein treatment, and this one seemed very good for the job

The Deep conditioning:

Friday night, i was extremely tired and about to go to bed… Then I was just hanging around the house, picking up what my daughter left all around (kids ! lool) and all of a sudden I decided that I wasn’t going to be lazy! I went to pick up the CON nourishing & strengthening conditioner, and applied it from roots to tips on my head.

The product…

…Was extremely surprising: it has a very slippery consistency on its own, and as you all know (well you should now if you watch my vids on YT, lol) when ever I have a new product, I use it on its own, no mix, no extra add such as honey or JBCO or essential oil, nothing!

It was almost “hard” meaning difficult to apply on my very straight hair, it think I might like it better on hair that is about 6 to 8 weeks post relaxer, due to this very soft honey-y consistency…

The process:

I slathered the product all over (took me about 5 to 10 mn) and covered my head with some saran wrap. Then I added my DC scarf and went to bed.

The results…

…were beyond my expectations! loool I mean, I got in the shower, rinsed my hair and it was so soft and slippy while rinsing that at first I was afraid that this product was a moisturizing condish and that I was going through a moisture overload! Well not all!!

I rinsed with luke-cold water and then I went ahead with the aphogee 2 min reconstructor : this was my mistake ! Because after I got the entire product out, I felt my hair strong and soft, I should have stopped there, because I saw almost no hair in the tub, compared to what I was seeing since my relaxer…

Anyways, I did the 2 mns reconstructor, and co-washed it out w/ a moisturizing condish (alberto Vo5 moisture milks)

Towel blotted my hair for about 10 to 15 mns then I took the towel out: oh my! Soft and strong hair, but quite hard (if that makes sense)… Next time I will add nothing after the CON, nothing at all!

I roller setted my hair (check the video down below) and after I took the rollers out, my hair was having almost no breakage!

Pros:

Reasonable price, scent is very mild, does what it says: strengthens & nourishes

Cons:

Package in the jar makes it hard to manage, consistency is too slip-y

Ratings:

I want to give this product a 4/5 knowing I might change it for a 5/5! It left my hair extremely strong afterwards, and reduced the breakage…

Ok i got the one of the greatest Christmas gifts i have ever wanted ! lol
As bf and i weren’t on Christmas evening together, we made our presents on January When i opened up the box, like when i opened up my closed eyes for the surprise, i pretended to be just glad… I was like “oh thanks that is nice…thank you…” Just to watch his reaction, lol

But i couldn’t hold it for more than 2 min, lol, i had to scream ! ! I am sooo happy i finally have them !
I was eying these rollers since THE BEGINNING of my hair journey ! I couldn’t find them in NYC (yes i know, weird ! ) So i was so saaad !

Now i can’t wait to relax to get it done ! lol
Just like the kid i am ! I have the best bf ever, lol

Anyways, rambling, here is what she got me

– Vatikka coconut oil with lemon & henna

- Queen Helene cocoa butter moisturizing cream

-KTC  100% pure coconut oil

- Zest lemon soap

Ok so the last one was a gift from the seller cause she really went crazy  in his shop, lol, she got a lot of stuff including mine so we had this soap, both of us

Now i always use the KTC coconut oil, specially for my daughter’s hair, her hair drinks this stuff, crazy ! So i restocked this one, but also because i am doing a coconut oil challenge on Hairlista, so i need to have plenty of this oil…

I chose the Vatika because i already have tried the coconut oil, i mean the regular formula of Vatika coconut oil, but this one intrigued me so i went ahead to read the ingredients…  100% natural ! No mineral oil, no paraben, sulfates, all good ! lol

Plus it has henna in it so that’s just going to be my next pre-poo oil, lol

Last the Queen Elisabeth : i tested this body cream a looong time ago in London & i just fell in love, it was great but…i purchased only one   So when i was back in France i look for it all over the BSS’s and nothing…

until we went in this shop & found it !

She took the big jar for me, i was so happy ! I just looooove the strong cocoa smell it has, and how comes it has mineral oil, parabens etc… all these bad ingredients…yet it moisturizes soooo well??? lol

I have  1 word : LOVE !

I bought this conditioner in NYC and i mainly use it to co-wash for my mid-week wash… It is a moisturizng / protein conditioner & oh my ! It entered straight in my top 3 cheapie conditioners, right after the Herbal essences LTR

My experience : love ! love ! love !

It left my hair silky smooth, my new growth was thanking me so much, i could style my hair ! It was meaving no greasy feeling, i use it to co-wash my henna glosses & it worked well, maybe better than my Tresemme bcz usually, after the henna my Tresemme leaves a slight greasy film on my hair…

Would i recommend it? For sure ! i would love to be in USA just to be able to buy them frequently, you can so easily stock on these condishes, they cost around 2$ in supermarkets… I think i have 5 in total, i will do a video review soon after i tested them all

My experience : I used it on its own, no mix no add. I just took out my cornrows, and went ahead applying the product straight to my hair.

Covered with a plastic cap & went to bed… Next morning i went under the shower, rinsed the product out. right after that i cleaned my hair with Hair one, the sulfate free cleansing conditioner.

It was a jackpot ! My hair was strong, soft and nourished. I really felt my scalp clean but most of all was the way my hair felt, just as if i used the ORS replenishing conditioner i love…

I did lost some hair in the tub but those were the dead hair that were in the cornrows…

Ok so this conditioner is called “moisturizing” but it is a light protein conditioner, due to the hydrolyzed silk that it is containing… Whatever my hair was in need of a good protein treatment that would not leave my hair hard while strenghtening it! I found it !

Oh my, i felt in love at first use.

They say :

I say :
this was not a lye ! lol, i mean it was so smoothing to my ng, after 1st application !
I did a co-wash with this conditioner, first lathered for a general feeling and i was sooo surprised !
The smell of it is just a trip to red raspberry land, i was conquered !

The 2d lather was even better, cause that time i took the time to wash my scalp really good with it, taking time to massage the product in…
I don’t get it, but when i rinsed it out, trust me ladies, i wasn’t really feeling my 10 weeks pst relaxer ng ! ! !

after using their HE LTR leave-in split end protector and the HE none of your frizzness leave in (i sealed with very little of my oils mix avocado + macadamia) i air dried, tied a scarf on and here was what my hair was looking like the following day

I am just amazed because i love this product ! So far, it gets straigth to 2d position right after my Tresemme vit E. rich moisture, when it comes to my co-wash conditioners
