i really need help with my hair, i am clueless about how to look after it.
i relax my hair every month (is this good?) my hair is really fin espeally my sides> every day i have hair fallen out in the sink. i use dr miraCLE hot grow on my scalp and i also grease my scalp every 2 days (is this right) i also deep condtion my hair every week with organics olive oil deep conditioner. i really not no what i am doing wronge….p.s are u ment to use a large comb instead of a smal comb on ur hair? please help lol…..x

Hi Nunaa: I just love you. I watch every one of your videos about hair. I’m writing you from Puerto Rico. An island from the Caribbean. I have a question and I would like you to help me, if you can. Can you wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo after a pre-poo treatment or do you have to use a regular shampoo?
I’m a newbie in this hair journey and would like to know everything. And what better place than here with you. I started my hair journey in March 2010. I was NL and now I’m SL I have trim twice already. I don’t have problems with hair growing, just shedding and breakage. I have mixed hair. In some places I have 2c hair type, in others 3a/b. So, it’s not that bad. I relax 2 times a year the whole hair (roots) and the front hair line 3 or 4 times a year. I color every 8 to10 weeks; like I told you, my hair grows, it just shedding and breakage. I’m not a 20ish girl, I’m 48 years. So this is where I’m having doubts. I’ve looked everywhere. I’m want to give myself a hot oil treatment with mayo and eggs you know, a pre-poo. And I don’t know if clarifying will strip the oils and or treatment that you put on your hair. I don’t want to go through all this work and by giving myself this clarifying shampoo will throw it all away. Please, can you help me out? With your videos my hair has improved a lot, but I still have my doubts. Thank you Nunaa.

So let’s get straight to the point : i won’t advise washing with a clarifying shampoo after a pre-poo, as u said it, you will strip all the benefits off
I have always seen that ppl should clarify every 4 weeks… But double sens here = if you want to clarify, i would say pre-poo with oils only, so that you don’t give your scalp such a harsh treatment
You seem to have great hair, i would love my hair to grow that fast
and yeah i know where Puerto Rico is, i would looove to go & visit the Islands there, Purto Rico, rep.dominicana, Cuba, St-John, StMartin, etc…. You must be having a great weather
But yeah clarifying is meant to strip it off the residues, so it will take out the entire moisture …. I personally use ORS aloe vera shampoo, not that bad
