Look at my ends, they need to be trimmed but ppl still ask me…

“Nunaa how did you got your hair to grow so long?” …

Now first my hair is not long (according to haterz I get on my youtube channel, anyways, lol), but my hair is DEFINITELY longer than ANYTHING I have ever dreamt of!!! Thank you Lord !

Tks to all of you that are liking my hair & progresses btw, lol

Then to my opinion, and I explain it live in this video here, it is not about:

* Products
* Being mixed race (how stupid…pfff)
* Miracle growth aids
* Being lucky
* Etc….

It is all about

* RETAINING your length!
* TAKING GOOD CARE of your hair!
* Finding what works FOR YOU!!!!!

It took me about 3 to 6 months to understand that my hair was not protein best friend! lol, then another 6 months to realize my hair LOVES ME to LEAVE IT ALONE ! looool

But it only took 1 month for me to understand that my hair was deeply crazily in love with DEEP CONDITIONING!!!

So I have no miracle equation to give you, I am sorry,

I have no miracle products to advise, sorry…

I can only do what I do : share what worked FOR ME, and telling you all that WHAT WORKS 4 me…MAY NOT WORK 4 you and I regret it

You have to learn YOUR hair; you have to listen to YOUR hair needs; you have to treat YOUR hair with good care!

I get a lot of women (& men believe it or not) that are asking me to help them, and I ALWAYS ANSWER! God gave me that strength, I will do it until He stops me, lol, but to help you, I have to learn more!

That’s why I very often ask

* What is your hair type?
* What are the products you use?
* How do you treat your hair internally?
* How often do you wash, condition?
* How do you protect your hair? (if you do so???)

Because I can’t help if I have only that type of message “Nunaa my hair is breaking please help me…”

I want to help but I can’t do so if you don’t provide enough infos…

So yeah growing hair is a personal story…

And please don’t tell me hair doesn’t grow, Everybody’s hair is growing (just like teeth grew, nails, average length etc…), your question should be HOW DO I RETAIN MY LENGTH?? lol

Answer very soon in another post

I just got a day of work today, it was so great… So yesterday night, i did my hot oil treatment (stay tunned for the video coming soon) with my olive oil marinated with garlic cloves…

Slept with that overnight

This morning i lathered 2 x with my Keracare hydrating detangling shampoo diluted

Air dried for about 15 mns then DC with a moisturizing mix : Alter ego garlic conditioner + Silk Elements megasilk moisturizing conditioner

Shower cap on & went under the hood dryer for about 30 mns, rinsed & applied my leave-ins… Then i air dried in a bun, it was so shiny here that my hair dried as quickly as a charm, lol

I can’t wait for spring to be definitely here, co-washes are going to be da bomb !

Tonight plans :

release the bun,

apply my JBCO to scalp,

moisturize & seal using ORS hair lotion + growth oil mix,

baggy ends,

re-bun & scarf before bed !

I will determine my breakage level at my next wash day

Towel blotting: I pretty much think we all do that, lol. Towel blotting is when put our towel on our hair to absorb the excess water.

T-shirt drying: the exact same thing but using… an old t-shirt (hey I never said dirty t-shirt, loool)

A lot of people started to use a t-shirt to remove the excess water in their hair as opposed to using a towel because of the material of the towels. They say the cotton in the regular basic t-shirt is mild and thus not rubbing on our hair, making it frizzing, electricity static etc…

My opinion:

I tried both, and yes there is a difference. The t-shirt leaves the hair “softer” than the towel does… But my main concern is the time it takes: soooo long compared to using the towel! Towels are made in a material that is being water absorbent, more than a lot of materials…

T-shirt is absorbing the water…and remains completely wet! Well that what happened to me, lol

Now my question is: unless you are rubbing your head vigorously with the towel, which we all know is BAD! lol, well why risk to catch a cold, and take a longer time to have your hair out of any excessive water?

Cause I tried the t-shirt drying in summer time!!! And I caught a cold!!! Ok so maybe there is something I do wrong, because how comes I never end up with frizzy, static hair when I use my towel?

The answer is: it’s all about preferences! lol, we are all different, what works for you… y’all know the end J

Ok so this is a picture of my hair taken at my last relaxer October 2009

As you can see at that moment i wanted to be BSB for May 2010, but in the meantime, i changed my mind & decided to reach BSB for Feb 2010..

But today, i am 5 weeks away from my next relaxer, and i feel i will not be there… So it’s nothing important, but i feel frustrated…

So i guess i’ll just go back to my previous wish, BSB for May 2010, my birthday, lol

And thinking about it, it will help me to reach my main last ultimate length goal, BSL for Dec 2010 : i want a thick healthy BSL by the end of 2010, so for this purpose i will trim next relaxer, so that my hair grows neat with beautiful ends…

Now i decided (along with a KISS sister), that i will not show my hair length before our common next relaxer, which is in February… So stay tunned ppl

Mega Cholesterol is an intensive conditioning treatment specially formulated with Panthenol Pro-Vitamin B5. This unique formula helps strengthen, moisturize and protect against split ends while detangling dry, damaged hair.

I think : they are a 100% right !! i give this product a 5/5. When ever i have a new product i try it on its own to see what it really will be doing on my hair.

Here is what i did : Friday night, 5th of june, i parted my hair in 3 sections and applied the conditioner just like i would do with a relaxer. Making sure my whole hair was covered, from root to tips, nape & edges with double dose of the product.
Covered with a plastic cap, added a scarf & went 2 bed.
Next day i just rinsed, co-washed with my Tresemme vit E. moisture rich conditioner.

The results : LOVE ! lol, i have never experienced that bouncy hair, i just air dried using my after wash products, and the air drying was a pure moment of love. My hair was soft, from the moment i rinsed the product to when it was a 100% dry. I don’t have a lot of this product, but i will def repurchase this one ! A keeper !
