“Je puis tout par Celui qui me fortifie” (Philippiens 4:13). I have been weak. Abused, afraid, discouraged. I have been down. I have been lower than that. Sick to die. And i do believe that I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Because i have always been strong. I have been faithful. I have been blessed. I have been loved. He Who gave His only son gives me theis strength to believe that tomorrow is what today won’t be. Loving the Almighty !

Faithful post ~ God is good and He controls the situation !
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28)
Have you ever been asking yourself this question : why is life so hard? Just because you are frustrated with life & its issues? Frustration comes from us living in a world broken by sin. Pain is inevitable, but if you don’t pay attention, this pain will lead to bitterness.
Bitterness is a poison, a cancer to our hearts. When you get bitter towards someone, you are absolutely not harming this person but only yourself. Continue reading
Matthew 15:28 – Your faith has to be greater than your issues
“Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.”
This woman didn’t knew much about Jesus but she had enough faith to go and knock on the right door, asking “have mercy on me!” At least she knew Lord had mercy ! But she had to overcome a lot of difficulties :
- the Lord’s silence : ” Jesus did not answer a word”
- the disdain of the disciples : “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
- the seemingly interdiction due to her being a pagan : “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
- then this hard word of the Lord : “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
But this word “dogs” frequently used by the jewish to adress the pagans was not used that way by Jesus, it was used to prove the great faith of this woman, as she answered “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
Despite all of the obstacles, this woman showed her faith to the Lord, that’s whay Jesus told her “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.”
And that’s what Jesus is expecting us to do, not to worry about all the appearent issues, but to have faith first !
Prayer of the day : Lord Jesus, help me overcome all the hurdles. May my faith be a proof of your power. May you answer my prayer by saying “you have great faith! Your request is granted.” Amen.
