Ok ladies, here is the test i just did tonight !
I used Neem powder to make a light paste and apply it to my face

Here are the stuff i used
– 1 tbs Neem powder
– about 3 tbs of warm water
– 1/2 tbs of grape seed oil

Neem powder

Neem powder is highly anti-bacterial, and the leaves have been used for centuries to make anti-bacterial washes and poultices. Add neem powder to cosmetic clays to make a face pack or body wrap that is suitable for acne prone skin. Add neem powder to salt scrubs for skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis.

Choice of grapeseed oil

I was looking for the oil that would have the properties to fight the dryness of the powder, and i remembered that grapeseed oil is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for damaged and stressed tissues, possessing regenerative and restructuring qualities which allow for strong control of skin moisturization.

It can help skin retain the normal structure of epithelium cells and nerve cells via supporting the cell membranes.[citation needed] It is noted to be especially effective for repair of the skin around the eyes. Used as an all-over skin moisturizer, grape seed oil is known to reduce the look of stretch marks.

A light, thin oil, grape seed oil leaves a glossy film over the skin when used as a carrier oil for essential oils in aromatherapy. It contains more linoleic acid than many other carrier oils. Grape seed oil is also usable as a lubricant for face shaving. In addition, grape seed oil applied to the feet each morning clears up many foot problems such as itching, scaly flaking and odor.

My experience

This is the wet product on my face. It feels very powdery, and as i haven’t mixed it well, i still have small lumps in it… whatever, it is ok.
the scent is weird and gets stronger as it gets dryer… But i am fine with that as i like Indian products scents & perfumes (ok not all of them, hahahaha)

Product starting to get dry.

I think i applied a way too thick layer so it was taking long to get dry.
I rinsed with luke water, and as i was feeling the grapeseed oil, i decided to do a light skin cleansing with my Medimix soap (check out my video on the tube for that one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfdeGZQApL0 )

RESULTS :

My skin is sooo soft, so smooth ! my oh my ! i def think i will do that 1 x week, i kept the rest of my mix in the refrigerator
Look at this close up of my skin after rinsing it out

Ladies if you have the opportunity try it and let me know what you think of it

Ps : try to avoid getting some in your mouth, blaaaah, tastes horrible 😉
