I know i want to move by the end of next year, or 2012 at least… I am still trying to make up my mind… London, Paris, New-York, or Toronto? Waht do you guys think? Which city have you always wanted to live in? Let me know…
I lived in Paris, went to New-York, loved London ! The only one i don’t know yet is Toronto, maybe this one will be my final choice… (ok New-Yorkers i know y’all want me back, lmao)
But being realistic, with a little girl, i think Toronto or London (aaarghhh London my love) would be the ones i’d really hesitate for…
nunaa…ii think london is the better choice for you and your little girl…this is coming from a toronto girl, born and bred. ii think it is better for you to stay in europe and be close to the people you have there…..ii only say this unless you really want to do a 360 and move out of the continent and so forth…if that is the case toronto is the better choice for your daughter’s upbringing because it is safe and it is an amazing, world-class, multicultural city, the only problem is that we are heavily taxed here in canada, which may or may not be a problem for you, and it is expensive here compared to the states but my first choice for you will be London…stay blessed
awww saba, thanks so much for this very honest comment, i truly appreciate your feedback ! I feel London, like nowhere else, but yeah i really want to get somewhere else that on the old continent, loool
Thanks again for voting girl, means a lot 🙂
I’ve lived/visited all 4 cities and can truly say that Toronto offers the best of all worlds. Its a city with lots to do, but it isn’t as hectic as London or New York. Also it is very multicultural so you will meet many people from around the world. Finally, the schools in Toronto/Canada are amazing! Def a great place to raise children.
you stole my heart ! ! lool, that’s what i needed to hear, “Def a great place to raise children” love that ! thanks for helping me by giving your opinion :- )
I’ve also lived in/ visited all 4 places and agree with Hanna; Toronto would provide you with the best of both worlds expecially in terms of education, and healthcare …great for your daughter! ( the only negative I can think of might be expensive housing and cold winters)
A small suggestion though; have you maybe considered Montreal ? Affordable education, healthcare and housing… Also bilingual(French and English) !! The drawbacks here would be depending on the field you work in you might not have as many job oppornuties as if
you were in Toronto! And the cold!
Whatever decision you make though, I’m sure will be the best one for you and your daughter! Bonne chance!
hey Maryse, i was hiding Montreal in my heart somewhere, lol, i went there & never really gave the chance to the city… this might be the one to go for… But i loove speaking english u know that, lol… i have friends in Toronto telling me that the cold there is very different than the one in France… so yeah maybe North America will see us 🙂
Anyways tks so much for the nice comment & tips, love it 🙂
Stay w/ me in Pariiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis !!! Lol
