I have been growing my hair texlaxed for the past 2 years now, and i cut as i go. My goal is to grow my entire head of hair texlaxed. Now i hope i’d be able to do so before i shave my head (yes still thinking of this but the upcoming winter has me like eeemmm??!!… lol)

Some of you may not be familiar with the hairjourneyers lexicology, so let me break it down.

TEXLAXED = TEXtured – reLAXED. This litterally means that you keep applying a chemical to your hair but you don’t process the hair 100% bone straight.

The main reason why i started to texlax my hair is because my hair is a fine type of hair. Meaning i can use ALL the products in the world, i will never get that thick grain of hair (in the shaft). It can grow stronger, but i don’t think it will ever COMPLETELY CHANGE (i heard genes have something to do with it…)

So as i always wanted a thicker appearance, i started to document myself (as we should all do 🙂 and opted for this method.

Gives you a fuller appearance, a lot more hair to deal with = a different work. Because as the hair grows & you texlax it, you have to deal with 3 textures (natural growing from the scalp + texlaxed where you apply the product + bone straight, the older ends).

Now to each its own, i haven’t drastically changed the products i use on my hair, but i heard / read / watched women talking about how the different hair texture needed different products.

Will I ever shave? Ohhh yes, I’ve been itching to do so for way too long not to cross the line. When? God only knows J

So here is my actual hair texture in pictures

———————————————————————————

.lol).

Quand ? Dieu seul sait 🙂

Voici ma texture actuelle.
