RELAXED HAIR WASH DAY

If you follow me on Instagram you know the braids went down and i do miss them by the way, but this is another story. I went to get my relaxer early February which oh my God, it is almost been a month already!! Days go by too fast. You’ll get a video on this relaxer day for sure my loves, be patient 😉 In the meantime let me show you what are the products i use currently on my relaxed hair wash day / Si vous me suivez sur Instagram vous savez que les tresses ont tiré leur révérence et d’ailleurs cette coiffure me manque…je digresse. Je suis allée me faire défriser au début du mois de Février ce qui oh mon Dieu, fait déjà presque un mois!! Les jours passent trop vite. Vous aurez une vidéo sur ce défrisage my loves, soyez patients 😉 En attendant, voici un rapide aperçu de ce que j’utilise les jours de soins.Just like every afro hair, relaxed hair needs a lot of moisture, specially due to the fact that the chemicals modify the nature of the hair. That’s why usually, the month after the relaxer i am using more moisturizing products than fortifying (not talking about the 1st wash after the relaxer) Price : 8 to 10$ / Comme tous les cheveux afro, les cheveux défrisés ont besoin de beaucoup d’hydratation, spécialement car le produit chimique du défrisage modifie la nature du cheveux. C’est pourquoi habituellement, le mois après le défrisage j’utilise plus de produits hydratants que protéinés (je ne parle pas bien sur du soin juste après défrisage). Prix : 5 à 7€ selon revendeur

The only other shampoo i have tried with as much moisture is this one mentionned here. But it’s been nearly 2 years since i am completely hooked on the CON (Creme Of Nature) Sulfate-free Moisture & Shine shampoo (yes that was quite long to say) /Le seul shampoing que j’ai essayé qui soit aussi hydratant est celui-ci. Mais cela va faire 2 ans que je suis accro au shampoing de chez CON (Creme Of Nature), le Sulfate-free Moisture & Shine.

My opinion /Mon avis

I agree a 100% with them. This will allow you to detangle your hair in the shower, even the fine relaxed hair like mine! / Je valide à 100%. Ce shampoing vous aidera à démêler vos cheveux sous la douche, même les cheveux défrisés aussi fins que les miens.

Cons / Contre

Make sure you wash it out very very very thouroughly (yes i need to insist on this) because it may leave a mushy feeling where you won’t know if there still is some product in your hair / Prenez soin de bien, très très bien même, rincer parce qu’il peut laisser un fini glissant qui fait qu’on ne sait pas s’il y a encore du produit dans les cheveux ou pas.I have mentionned this conditionner here because it is the only one i use alternating with my trusty ORS Replenishing. The CON Intensive conditionning treatment has been a part of my routine for as long as the shampoo. Price 8 to 10$ / J’ai mentionné ce soin ici car c’est le seul que j’utilise en rotation avec mon Replenishing conditionner de la marque ORS. The Intensive conditionning treatment de chez CON fait partie de ma routine capillaire depuis aussi longtemps que le shampoing. Prix : 5à 7€ selon revendeurs.

My opinion / Mon avis :

Not only it does all that they say, but i have to add that everytime i use this one, i get less to non hair in the tub or while i style my hair, compared to when i use the ORS / Non seulement il fait tout ça, mais je dois ajouter une chose : je constate moins/voir pas du tout de cheveux dans la baignoire quand je me sers de ce soin, comparé aux fois où j’utilise mon soin de chez ORS.

Cons / Contre : None ! / Aucun !

Now this is the new baby in my hair care routine. Recently got it on my trip to Cardiff, it is the CON Oil moisturizer. Very thick cream, it still isn’t as thick as my holy grail moisturizer. Price : 8$. As it is fairly new i can’t give you a full on review, but i’ll say this : even though it is lighter than my Olive Oil by ORS, it gets my hair a lot heavier so we’ll se how this goes, i’ll give you a detailed review very soon / Voici le nouveau venu dans ma routine capillaire. Je l’ai acheté récemment lors de mon voyage à Cardiff. Lotion hydratante très épaisse, elle reste quand même plus légère niveau texture que ma crème capillaire absolue. Prix : 6€. Dans la mesure où c’est le dernier arrivé, je ne vous en ferai pas une revue détaillée ici. Je vous dirais néanmoins ceci : même si elle est légèrement plus légère que l’autre, cette lotion hydratante alourdit mes cheveux alors nous verrons comment mes cheveux s’adaptent, et je vous en reparle en détail très prochainement.
