Travelling doesn’t always mean that you have to have holidays ahead (and as a matter of fact this year i have none, no comment). So i have been taking time to go on short weekends, sometimes just one or two nights out of town, and this is where i hope this post will come in handy for you by showing you [Tweet “what to take for a quick getaway”] / Voyager ne signifie pas toujours avoir de longues vacances (et il se trouve que je n’en ai pas cet été, sans commentaires). Alors j’ai essayé de bouger par ci par là, parfois juste pour une ou 2 nuits, et voici ce que j’emporte en général.
I usually bring a small handbag, wallet, ID, cash, reading material and so forth. If you’re to take a plane well a passeport will always come in handy if you don’t want to have to go back crying because the customs sent you back at home. Plane talking, i will either have my tab or my ipod, any of these i need my earphones because music to rule my life, walking as if i was J-Lo in her “All i have” song (oh come on we all do that, just pick up your song). Oh and always make sure you have your external charger because this is a life savior when you are waiting for a plane or such / Si je dois prendre l’avion eh bien une pièce d’identité ou passeport sont toujours bienvenues, en cas contraire c’est retour à la maison en pleurant pour cause de renvoi par les douaniers. En parlant d’avion, j’emmène toujours ma tablette ou mon Ipod, peu importe lequel mes écouteurs y sont liés parce que la musique rythme ma vie, marchant telle J-Lo dans “All i have” (oh arrêtez on le fait tous, chacun sa chanson). Oh et n’oubliez pas votre chargeur externe, ceci vous sauvera vraiment la vie en cas de longue attente à l’aéroport ou autre.
For a quick getaway, i don’t care if the hotel have travel size of shower gel or other, i like to take my current fragrance with me. So i include a small toiletries bag with just the essentials – hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, moisturizer and sunscreen. No surprise right here, Bath & body Works rules the body moisturizer and spritz, whilst I Love takes care of my shower with their coconut bubble bath creme / Pour une rapide échappée, peu m’importe que l’hôte ait des miniatures de soins, j’emmène toujours mes chouchous du moment. Alors je prend une petite trousse de toilette avec juste les essentiels – brosse à cheveux et une brosse à dents, pâte dentifrice, gel douche, déodorant, crème hydratante et écran solaire. Pas de surprise ici, Bath & Body Works mène le jeu avec la crème et le parfum corporels, tandis que I Love s’occupe de ma douche avec leur creme moussante à la noix de coco.
For these lovely sunny days, nothing better than a pair of tinted sunglasses to be able to still profit of a little bit of sun. No unnecessary accessories, it is way too hot to take a lot of stuff so i only take one watch. Being totally obsessed with big chunky watches, i usually go for this transparent Ice watch that fits almost all my outfits / En ces belles journées rien de mieux qu’une paire de lunettes teintées pour profiter quand même un peu du soleil. Pas d’accessoires inutiles, il fait trop chaud pour se surcharger du coup je n’emmène qu’une seule montre. Totalement fan des grosses montres, j’aime cette Ice transparente qui va avec quasiment toutes mes tenues.
